The major challenge in the build is we don’t want to include any low quality component but due to budget constraint I have mentioned them separately if you wish to buy. For example a 1TB hard drive costs about Rs. 3,700 to 4,000 depending on the brand and a 500 GB costs around Rs. 3000, it does not make much sense to buy the 500 GB.
Similarly we could have included a low
cost PSU(SMPS) but it impacts the overall performance and safety of you
gaming PC build so we included a slightly expensive PSU.
While I set out to make sure we only spend Rs. 20,000 we ended up spending additional Rs. 3,000 for the Best Gaming PC Build.

Hard drive – As i
referred in the beginning of the article you should look at buying a 1
TB hard drive as the price difference is really low between a 500 GB and
1 TB. The cheapest 1 TB drive is Toshiba 1 TB Desktop Internal Hard Drive (DT01ACA100) you can purchase for Rs. 3600. If you want you can also go for Seagate Barracuda 1 TB Desktop Internal Hard Drive
which is slightly expensive than the Toshiba drive. I would not suggest
a 500 Gb or 250 GB hard drive to gamers as the current generation
games GTA 5 , GTA 4 , Assassin’s Creed Black Flag, watch Dogs , Far Cry 4
, Crysis 3, battlefield 4 etc demand high amount of storage space.
SMPS Cosair VS 350
– It is a good PSU for this gaming build and will fit in your budget as
well, There are cheaper PSU’s available like Zebronic ZEB-450W Gold
Series 450 Watts PSU which you can also buy at your own risk. The power
deliver and performance is good with the corsair and can easily take the
load of system.
If you want to be doubly sure and want
even bettery PSU you can buy the Corsair 450 which is Rs 300 costlier
than the 350 watt PSU and offers 450 watts of power supply.
Processor – Intel 3.0 GHz LGA 1150 G-3220 –
The Intel processor is clocked at 3.0 Ghz and has 2 cores and supports
LGA 1150 socket motherboards. It is a Intel 4th generation processor and
comes with 3 year warranty. It offers good performance in gaming
coupled with a good graphics card. For the price of Rs. 3700 it is a
good purchase.
It is a quite reliable feature rich
motherboard and offers support for external graphics card and LGA 1150
soc processors. The motherboard also supports 3rd generation
PCI-Express interface in case you plan to purchase a faster graphics
card in future. The motherboard supports upto 16 GB of RAM.
Graphics Card – Zotac Nvidia Geforce GT 720 1 Gb GDDR5–
The Nvidia GT 720 is starting range graphics card but has a
considerably faster GDDR5 memory, compared to GT 620 or GT 610 with 2GB
or 4GB VRAM this card is much faster in performance. The higher VRAM is
not utilized by the graphics cards at this resolution and your best bet
is 1 GB GDDR5 graphics card. Even an Nvidia GT 730 a great choice.
