Rooting Part 1 : Unlocking Bootloader

1.  First of all you will require an android smartphone with android version 4.4.2(Kitkat) or higher.

    

2.Go to the setting of your phone and enable usb debugging in the developer options (To enable developer options if disabled go to the about phone option in your settings and tap on “Build number” 7-8 times).

   3.  Remember to make backup of your contacts and media as after unlocking the bootloader you may lose your data.

   4.  Now make sure your battery is charged to 70-80 % and switch of your phone

   5.  Now pressing volume down key first and then power key now hold it simultaneously for about 11-15 seconds. Now leave volume down key first then after 2-3 seconds leave the power key. You will see the fastboot screen on your device.

   6.   Now connect your device to your pc using usb cable.

   7.  Now download fastboot and TWRP file from the link given below and install it in your pc.

               

   8.  Also download the Supersu for your phone kitkat or lollipop. Link given below.

   9.  Now go to the location where you installed minimal ADB (C:\Program Files (x86)\Minimal ADB and Fastboot) and press SHIFT+RIGHT CLICK and select “open command window here”.

  10.  Now type “Fastboot devices” and press enter to see if your device is connected or not. Type “adb reboot bootloader” and press enter. Now type “fastboot oem unlock” and press enter.  

     

    11. After entering that last command, the unlock process will begin automatically, so let it do its thing and wait for it to reboot. Once rebooted, you will need to go through the same setup process you did when you first got the device. 

    12.  Now again open fastboot menu you will see your device is unlocked.
